Dive Spots in Costa Rica
Cahuita National Park has the country’s largest reef (October to November) Isla del Coco has to be the most renowned among experienced divers. Anytime is a good time to visit the “Coco”, but the sea voyage alone takes 36 hours each way, so plan your vacation time wisely! Catalina and Murcielago Islands are off Costa Rica’s Northwest Pacific Coast and give divers the chance to see rays and sharks, also wreck dives are good here. Isla de Cano and the Golfo Dulce are virgin spots on the South Pacific coast of Costa Rica.
